The Rosetown and District Music Festival Association is getting set to host their Virtual Carol Festival, starting at 7 pm tonight. You can view the live streamed event later on, by following the link below.

The virtual event will be run through the groups Facebook page, featuring groups or soloists singing and playing a variety of instruments in the spirit of Christmas.

Carly Nunweiler is the organizer of the event and will be the one posting all the videos, but president Felice Mourre was the one to share some of the fundraising going on alongside the event.

“There will be an option to donate to our festival, as this is usually our only fundraiser for our organization. We are also accepting bottle donations at Rosetown Sarcan for the months of Dec. and Jan.”

The empty bottles and cans can be dropped off at Sarcan in Rosetown, if you just ask them to donate the proceeds to The Rosetown and District Music Festival Association. Pick-up can also be arranged, as you can contact Felice at 306-831-6007!

Anyone interested can watch alone, or get together with family and friends to enjoy Christmas music from the local musicians. No matter the reception to the different event, the group is just happy to be back with some sort of entertainment after the festival was cancelled last year.
