At just 10 years old, Mady Adamson has accomplished something I haven't done in my five years of working in radio: sit down and interview the premier of our province. Not only did she sit with the premier of the province, but it sounds like her and her family had a full action packed day heading to Regina and touring the Legislature building, so we can expect to see more from that trip in the coming days.

In a statement sent to our news room Mady said, “I was honoured to be asked to spend a day at the Saskatchewan Legislature. My family & I enjoyed taking in the Question Period and meeting many MLA’s and staff members. The history of the Legislature Building itself is incredible. Some of the highlights for me was learning that the Sask Legislation building is the second largest in Canada and sits on the biggest city park. Seeing the original woodwork was really neat and sitting at the Cabinet Ministers table. Special thanks to Premier Scott Moe, MLA Ken Francis, MLA Jim Writer and MLA David Marit for taking time to meet with us, and not only supporting me but all of Agriculture”.

More photos from Mady's trip along with her Question Period being released soon on their social media pages.

Below you can find Mady's video where she sat down with Premier Scott Moe to talk about some of her favourite videos and things to do on the farm, and where the young agvocate sees her future taking her!
