The calls to service for the Unity, Macklin and Wilkie RCMP from March 22 to 28 were highlighted by a complaint from a parent of a male grabbing their child at a local park. A 19 year old Unity resident was identified. This matter is still under investigation.

UNITY REPORTS

· RCMP received a complaint of theft. This matter is still under investigation.

· Police are investigating a complaint of uttering threats.

· Members spoke to an individual regarding a Mental Health Act concern.

· RCMP received a report of a two vehicle collision on Highway 14 east of Unity. There were no injuries. A traffic ticket was issued to one vehicle driver.

· Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members transported the subject of complaint to Battlefords Union Hospital for assessment.

· Members acted as mediators in a family disagreement.

· RCMP spoke to an individual regarding a child welfare concern.

· Police received a report of a two vehicle collision in Unity. There were minor injuries and the matter is under investigation.

· Members are investigating a complaint of harassing communications.

· RCMP received a complaint from a parent of a male grabbing their child at a local park. A 19 yo Unity resident was identified. This matter is still under investigation. No other persons are being looked for in regards to this incident. Anyone with information on about this incident is asked to contact the Unity RCMP directly.

· There was also one false alarm.

WILKIE REPORTS

· RCMP received a complaint of disturbing the peace but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

· Police received a complaint of assault. This matter is still under investigation.

· Members conducted a wellbeing check at the request of a family member.

· RCMP received a complaint of harassing communications but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

· Members conducted a wellbeing check at the request of a family friend.

MACKLIN REPORT

· RCMP received a complaint of fraud. This matter is still under investigation.

· Police receive a complaint of harassing communications but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

· Members received a complaint of theft but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

· RCMP received a report of a suspicious vehicle in a rural area near Macklin. Members executed an arrest warrant for one of the vehicle occupants at the request of another RCMP Detachment.

· Members received a complaint of uttering threats. This matter is still under investigation.

· Police received a report of a residence fire. Macklin Fire Department attended but the fire had been extinguished by the property owner. The fire was not suspicious in nature.

· RCMP received a complaint of assault. Members spoke to the complainant.

· There was also one traffic complaint.
