Crop Sphere activities continue today at TCU Place in Saskatoon.

Yesterday, the Saskatchewan Pulse Growers handed out their Pulse Promoter Award to Dr. Steve Shirtliffe, a professor in the Department of Plant Sciences at the University of Saskatchewan.

Prof. Shirtliffe’s primary area of research is in field crop agronomy.

His position involves teaching, research, and outreach in the areas of agronomy and weed control.

At the SaskCanola AGM, the group honoured Bill Cooper with the Canola Influencer Award.

Cooper farmed in the Foam Lake area and has been involved in the canola industry since the late 1960's.

Today Sask Oats and Sask Wheat hold their AGM and CropSphere activities continues with presentations on Managing Clubroot, New technologies in Sprayer Cleanout, Market presentations and Brian Innes will focus on What is Canada’s Trump Card in the NAFTA negotiations.
