While the work on Highway 7 through the middle of Kindersley is yet to be finished, the noticeable part of the work is now done. Traffic lights have been installed and road crews along with SaskPower are in the process of getting power to them.

The lights will be pivoted over the highway once operational to direct traffic flow heading east and west on Highway 7. Rumours about how this may affect both service roads on either side of the highway have circulated, but nothing has been confirmed as of this time. According to the signs on the traffic lights, both left and right turns will have their own dedicated lanes once the light become operational.

West Central Online has reached out to both the Department of Highways as well as the Town of Kindersley for comments, and we will have updates this week.
