West-central Saskatchewan won't be getting the snowfall totals some parts of the province - particularly the Humboldt-Nipawin-Melfort region - will see. In fact, temperatures in the west-central area won't stay below normal as long as a lot of the province either.

Humboldt, Nipawin, and Melfort all have snowfall warnings in effect. They could see 15-20 centimetres today, with more falling on Monday and Tuesday, with a low-pressure system bringing winter-like weather.

But for Kindersley and Rosetown, a 30-per-cent chance of Sunday-morning snow will be the extent of any white stuff.

The usual high for this time of year is 11 C, and daily highs are only supposed to stay below that point until Thursday.
