Three players from the West Central region cracked the Top 32 in the province and now have a chance to represent Saskatchewan at the National Women’s U18 Championship in September 2023.

One more hurdle will have to be passed, as the Top 20 from the Summer Camp before the U18 National Championship will make the final squad.

A congratulations goes out to goaltender Paige Fischer from Rosetown, Amiyah Jones from Dinsmore, and Kaylee Williams from the Kyle area who made the Top 32.

Fischer had a solid year for the Swift Current U18 AAA Wildcats, going 9-5 with a 2.21 GAA and a sparkling .925 save percentage. Teammate and defender Amiyah Jones, had 2 goals and 7 assists in 28 games for Swift Current. Also a member of the Wildcats, Williams had 4 points in 30 games as a 15 year old.
