The Bell Acres Golf & Country Club is winding down its first year of having synthetic greens on the golf course, and Treasurer/Secretary of the Golf Club Ryley Magnus was very pleased with how things went down in the inaugural year of the greens.

“It went amazing. We had our busiest year on record and living record, probably, or at least that we have records for. We had an excellent year for people getting out and golfing.  People had tremendously good things to say about our synthetic greens. People not only in our local community and area coming to golf here, we had many first-time golfers coming out to Bell Acres Golf Course that hadn't been out this way before because of our synthetic greens plus our now our ability to have rental carts. So many good things here at our golf course this year, including your clubhouse renovations and the golf course board here is certainly an ambitious group, and they're looking to do more things in the future.”

The golf course is to remain open well into October according to Magnus.

“We allow people to golf out there until the snow flies basically. We will have our greens tarped and fencing around it here to make sure they (synthetic greens) stay good through winter. You can golf at Bell Acres golf course well into October, there's certainly no actual real deadline. It's just whenever the greens get covered and that'll be depending on how the weather turns here, but there's still lots good golfing yet to get in.”
