Team Saskatchewan Skip Sherry Anderson is moving on at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts.

Saskatchewan won both draws yesterday, defeating BC in the final end to win 8-7, and taking an easier victory later in the night against Newfoundland and Labrador 9-3.

Five of Saskatchewan’s eight preliminary round games were decided by only 1 score.

Seven other advancing teams will take their records with them into the championship round. The top three from the championship round will be Sunday's playoff teams, with the one seed earning the bye to that day's final.

Canada, Ontario, Manitoba, Quebec, Alberta, and two other wild card rinks will join Saskatchewan to make up the championship field. The first draw is set for 1:30 pm today.
