After the completion of their three game sweep over the Kerrobert Tigers, the Macklin Mohawks have also moved on to the semi-finals of the SWHL. Macklin won convincingly, 8-1 on Sunday at home, after a 5-3 win on the road Saturday, and a 7-3 win at home last Friday. 

Edam completed their three game sweep of Hafford last Friday, winning 3-2 in overtime on a goal by Brody Roach. Edam won game two 5-3 on the road in Hafford, and game one 5-2 at home. 

Kindersley knocked off Unity 6-1 last Friday to cement their place into the semi-finals and will take on Wilkie after they swept Biggar in round one. Game one for that series is set for Saturday at 8:00 pm, and Classic Hits Radio will have the call, with pregame show beginning at 7:45 pm.

As for provincials, the Kindersley Sr. Klippers will begin their north semi-final series against the Eston Ramblers on Monday at 5:30 pm, with game two set for Eston on Friday, February 25 at 8:30 pm. Game three if necessary would be in Kindersley on Sunday, February 27 at 5:30 pm. This is in the B bracket.

Also in the B bracket, Wilkie will play Hafford in their north semi-final series which begins this Sunday at 7:30 pm in Wilkie. Game two will be in Hafford on Friday, February 25 at 8:30 pm. Game three is necessary would be back in Wilkie on Sunday, February 27 at 7:30 pm.

The Biggar Nationals are in the A bracket of senior provincials and split their first two games with the Lanigan Pirates of the LLHL, with both teams winning on the road. Game three will be in Lanigan this Saturday at 8:00 pm.

Macklin entered the D bracket, and will be playing against another first place team in their league, the Kenaston Blizzards of the SVHL. The series will begin in Kenaston this Saturday at 7:00 pm. Game two will be played in Macklin on Friday, February 25 at 8:30 pm. Game three if needed will be back in Kenaston on Sunday, February 27 at 5:00 pm.

Also in the D bracket, Edam will play the Debden Jets. The last time these two teams played back in 2018 there was a brawl in the stands in Turtleford. Hopefully this time will more civilized, as the series begins in Edam Saturday at 8:00 pm. Game two will be back in Debden on Friday, February 25 at 8:00 pm, with the potential game three set for Big River, in place of Debden, at 8:00 pm on Saturday, February 26.
