The Kyle Elks became the first Sask Valley Hockey League team to move onto the second round with their 2-0 series sweep over the Loreburn 19ers. A 10-7 win on Friday and then a tight 5-4 win for the Elks on Friday helped them take the series win, as the rest of the playoff match-ups get underway.
