The Sask Valley Hockey League's regular season ended last weekend with a Sunday matchup between the Delisle Bruins and Rosetown Redwings, and that's right where the league will pick-back-up on Thursday night.

Two local series are being played out of the West Division. One of two games during the first night of the 2023-2024 SVHL playoffs, the fourth-seeded Rosetown Redwings will be hosting the five-seed Delisle Bruins at 8:00 PM from the AGT Centre in Rosetown. The other playoff series opener on Thursday will see the Eston Ramblers hosting the Lucky Lake-Beechy Lakers, that game also firing up at 8:00 PM.

The Outlook Ice Hawks made the playoffs in the East Division as the four-seed, and will be taking on the five-seed Craik Warriors in the first round. That series fires up Sunday night at 6:30 in Outlook, after the other series between Central Butte and Loreburn begins on Friday.

The winners in their respective divisions will move on to face the top seeds. The Dinsmore Dynamos and Kyle Elks finished first and second in the West, and Davidson and Kenaston earned the top two spots in the East.
