Kindersley, Eatonia, and Eston were just a few towns with students in attendance during Thursday's P.A.R.T.Y Program demonstrations. The day provided an early school-year lesson on the dangers of drinking and driving, and what goes on at the scene of an accident for emergency crews.

The community led initiative saw Kindersley Fire on hand alongside local RCMP. Grade 11 students were the target audience this time around.

"In order to make this program a success, many professionals from the community are volunteering their time to teach the students about what they may experience if they were involved in a traumatic incident." shared a P.A.R.T.Y Program release.

After the demonstrations, students have the opportunity to hear directly from an injury survivor.

The important program has been a staple around the area for years. P.A.R.T.Y does face costs associated with their work when it comes to the presentations, providing lunch and snacks, and renting out facilities.
