The Kindersley Stallions and Rosetown Angels locked horns last night at Berard Field for game one of the FVBL finals.

It was the Angels who came out quickly in this one, scoring three runs in the top of the first inning to take the lead.

But the Stallions answered back with three runs of their own in the bottom half of the inning to tie the score.

That is the way it stayed until the top of third inning when Rosetown pushed across a couple of runs and took a 5-3 lead.

The fourth inning is when the game was blown open by the hometown horses, as they put up 11 runs and took a 14-5 lead.

Harris hitsCorson Harris was part of the many hits in the big fourth inning for the Stallions. 

The Angels could never recover from the big offensive outburst, and the Stallions took game one, 16-6.

Rosetown will need to bounce back with a win tonight at home to stave off a two-game sweep at the hands of the Stallions. Game time in Rosetown in 7:00 pm
