After losing two in a row and three of their last four, the Kindersley Sr. Klippers came back with a strong effort at the WCEC last night. Kindersley peppered goaltender Dillon Beaudien in the first period but could not get on the scoreboard, as Beaudien made countless big saves. The Tigers meanwhile took advantage of their chances as Landon Murphy scored on a shot from the slot to give the Tigers an early lead. Then on a breakaway Steven Gottfried doubled the Tigers lead late in the period and that's where things stayed heading into the locker room.
