The Kindersley woman who was originally charged with the second degree murder of her newborn daughter in September of 2018, but pleaded guilty to a lesser charge in May and appeared back in court by video in October, has finally received her sentence.

Teenie Rose Steer of Kindersley was sentenced to 6 years imprisonment this afternoon in Saskatoon Court of Queen’s Bench, after she pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the death of her newborn back on September 27th, 2018.
