Search warrant leads to six weapons being seized in Kinley

The community of Kinley is a little safer following a visit from the Biggar RCMP.

As shared in their March 4 release, police uncovered multiple weapons while executing a "search warrant for public safety" at a residence in Kinley. As you can see in the photo above, they found five long guns, and one hand gun, in addition to ammunition.

Biggar RCMP detachment commander Sgt. Dereck Crozier shared the following statement following the seizure.

"Neighbours will rest a little easier knowing these weapons have been secured."

Kinley is located about 40 kilometres east of Biggar.
