Cattlemen from around the province gathered in Regina this week.

The Saskatchewan Stock Growers Associations Annual General Meeting and Convention ran on June 13th and 14th at the Conexus Arts Centre.

General Manager Chad McPherson says this year’s theme was Charting the Course:

"We selected the theme of charting the course because there are so many issues coming at the beef industry," he said. "And we've got to make important decisions on these issues to help lay the foundation on where we're going on the next ten, twenty, thirty years."

Producers in attendance covered many topics from Cattle Transportation to Labor Issues, Cattle Marketing, Premise I-D and Low Stress Animal Handling.
