The SHSAA Provincial Football Playoffs continue this weekend.

Following the quarter-final round last weekend only Kindersley is left remaining for West Central teams in 6-aside play, as they will be on the road against Clavet on Saturday.

Kobras handshakeThe Kobras defeated the Watrous Wildcats 37-31 in a home thriller last weekend to punch their ticket into the next round.

Saturday's roller coaster of a game was a great test for the Kobras as they are now forced out on the road against a good Clavet team.

The Kobras shouldn't need any extra motivation, but if they do, West Central Online reached out to our Saskatchewan Roughriders contact in Logan Ferland as he had this to say for the team in black and gold that now sits only one win away from the championship game.

"I'm not playing in the Grey Cup; I'm not playing in the cold; but you guys still are. Help represent a fellow Kindersley boy and go win that championship."

Ferland's CFL season may be over with the Roughriders failing to qualify for the playoffs, but his work as a Saskatchewan football advocate never stops.

You can listen to the audio clip below, as Ferland was never a KCS Kobra himself, but will always keep Kindersley near his heart.
