Once her AAA career finishes with the Swift Current Wildcats, Rosetown's Paige Fischer will be heading east across the provincial border in 2024-25 to play USPORTS with the University of Manitoba Bisons.

After her early years playing around west-central Saskatchewan, that included 3 games with the U15 AA West Central Wheat Kings, Fischer has moved around the last few years playing female AAA.
Fischer played for the PA Northern Bears in 2021-22 where she posted a sub 3.00 GAA, and got a taste of playing for the Esso Cup female AAA championship. After that the Rosetown native signed on to play a little closer to home with the Swift Current Wildcats in 2022-23, putting up another strong year that included two shutouts and an even better GAA at 2.21.
Congratulations goes out to Fischer, who will be looking to close out her AAA career with a strong Grade 12 season in Swift Current.
