George Bessey, manager of the Rosetown campground, caught up with West Central Online to talk about how this summer has been at the campground. George first noted it has been a little slower than last year in terms of total numbers, due mainly to the downturn in commodity prices. George noted that although full time campers have been down this year, part time and overnight stays are up to help balance out some of the full time camper loss. George also noted that the campground, like everywhere else has been dealing with the heavy rainfall and that a few campsites have been basically flooded out. Bessey also stated this is the first summer in about 10 years that they've had to use the pumps basically full time throughout the summer, to try and deal with the heavy rain.
