Now that the street sweepers have been through, and we're halfway through the month of June, we're seeing more and more motorbikes on the streets and Classic Car meets.

Main Street Rosetown will be blocked to traffic on Friday night from 5pm - 10pm for the 31st Annual Road Kill Cruise hosted by the Dusty Wheels Car Club. Two awards will be handed out including Club Choice and Mayor's Choice. The first 75 cars to arrive will get a dash plaque.

There is no admission fee to attend and no entrance fee for display cars. With all the money you saved you can buy a burger from the Alex Ositis Foundation. They will BBQ and have a concession on 2nd ave W, which is just South of the Post Office. Food purchase proceeds help buy medical equipment for the Rosetown Hospital. There's also going to be a couple raffles including: Elrose Museum cash raffle and the Draggin's Auto Club Engine raffle for Camp Easter Seals.

Entertainment throughout the event will be supplied by Singlehanded Glen Adair. Veteran musician with strong vocals and solid musicianship. His love of music has never wavered.

Dusty Wheels won the "best participation club" award at the past two Draggin's rod and custom car show. They meet every second Wednesday 8pm at the Rosetown Museum board room. The club is open to anyone who is interested in classic cars, and to join simply contact any club member.
