Ceremonies will be held throughout the West Central region for Remembrance Day this Friday. Some will also be taking place earlier as well, as the Kindersley Composite School will be holding one on Tuesday, November 8 at 1:45 pm.

  • Public service at the Town Hall -313 3rd Ave W. Public is being asked to be seated by 10:30 am.

 

Dodsland

Eston

  • Eston Legion Branch #155 will host it's Remembrance Day Service at 10:45 AM at the Eston Legion Hall.  

Flaxcombe

  • Flaxcombe Branch 98 is holding a Remembrance Day ceremony. Please join them at 10:30 in the Alsask Community Hall. Lunch will follow, and everyone is welcome to attend.

Kerrobert

  • The Town of Kerrobert will be holding a ceremony on November 11 beginning at 10:30 am at the Kinsmen/Legion Hall. Seating for approximately 70 people will be setup, and lunch will be served afterwards. 

 

Kindersley

  • LOCATION: United Church on Main St.

    TIME: 10:55 AM/ 11 AM - Moment of silence

    There will be a precession from the Legion to the church. Participants be at Legion at 10:30.

    Volunteers for laying wreaths on Friday can call 306-460-4688.

Rosetown

  • Nov 11th 10:30am arrive at Rosetown Civic Center, open to the public. Service starts at 10:45am

Outlook

  • 10:45am Friday Nov 11th at Veteran's Memorial Park, audience members are invited to place poppies at the Cenotaph.

Unity

  • Services for Remembrance day start on Nov 9th at St Peter's school, 10am.

    Nov 10th we start again at 10am at Unity public School, then at 2pm at the Unity Comp high school.

    Nov 11th services are at St. Peter's church. Doors open at 10am, to start at 10:30am.
