In the second game of the year the Rebels traveled to Macklin to play the Sabres under the lights. This game wasn’t the best to watch with the Rebels dominating 79-20. Macklin was a bit beaten up with the starting quarterback out with a torn ACL. This was the Rebels second win of the year which led them to a 2-0 record.

In the Rebels third game of the year, they were taking on the Eatonia Spartans which were at a surprising 2-0. This was Kerrobert’s home-opener and they didn’t want to lose in front of there home crowd. The Rebels were rolling with there first three drives ending in a touchdown. The Rebels would go on to score a touchdown on every drive but one, starting quarterback, Clark Snider, had a great night with nine touchdown passes. The final score was 97-50 for the Rebels. This was Kerrobert’s third win on the season and led them to 3-0.

The Rebels fourth game was in Eatonia. The game was a bit chilly and the Spartans wanted revenge after the rebels beat them 97-50. The game got underway with the Rebels scoring a touchdown, boosting their confidence and they ended up winning by a score of 48-12. Rebels are now 4-0 with 286 points, which is the most scored by any 6 man team in the province.

The Rebels are shaping up to be one of the best 6 man teams in Saskatchewan for the 2019 season. They have two regular season games left and then they will lead into playoffs where they have been beat by Hanley the last two years in the quarter-finals. They have become the Rebels rivals over the past couple of years. If the Rebels and Hanley face again you know it will be a great game.
