The Town of Outlook is in the midst of fundraising for a new pool in the community.
Outlook will not have a pool to use this summer when the temperature starts to soar.
West Central Online spoke with Tony Peter, one of the lead organizers for the fundraising efforts. Tony detailed how they have raised over $320,000 so far out of the necessary $1.5 million needed to complete the project. He also mentioned it was in the early phases of the fundraising efforts. Peter also mentioned some of the other ways that will be used to fundraise, including a series of garage sales every weekend through April and May. A raffle, a trade show booth and a cabaret are some of the other planned activities coming up to help raise awareness for the project and fundraise.
