One death in relation to COVID-19 was reported on Thursday.

Along with 96 new positive cases and 96 recoveries.

Of the new cases,  just one is in the central-west zone, Regina has 20, central-east and southeast have 19 cases each, Saskatoon has 12, the southwest zone has six, the northwest and south central have five, north-central and northeast have three cases each, the far northeast has two, and there is one case with pending residence information.

There are 993 active cases in the province. 142 of the active cases are hospitalized. 104 patients are receiving inpatient care, 38 patients are in the ICU. 69% of those patients were not fully vaccinated.

One patient has returned home from receiving out-of-province care but there are still six Saskatchewan residents over in Ontario receiving intensive care treatment. They were not included in today's case count.

The 7-day average of new COVID-19 case numbers was 95.
