The provincial government announced 945 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, along with 405 recoveries.

The new cases are located in the Far North West (5), Far North Central (2), Far North East (2), North West (30), North Central (32), North East (30), Saskatoon (294), Central West (10), Central East (66), Regina (283), South West (28), South Central (17) and South East (51) zones and 95 new cases have pending residence information.

9,252 cases are considered active. There are 149 active cases in the Central West zone and 117 active cases in the Central West 1 subzone which includes Kindersley and Rosetown.

The most active cases are in the cities of Saskatchewan where 2,881 cases are considered active in the Saskatoon zone, and 2,462 in the Regina zone. It was also announced this morning that Premier Scott Moe had tested positive for COVID-19 via a rapid antigen test

123 people are in hospital with COVID-19. 112 are receiving inpatient care with 55 hospitalized with COVID-19 related illnesses, 46 admitted for other reasons and 11 are yet to be determined. 11 are receiving ICU care with six being treated for COVID-19 illnesses and five being admitted for other reasons.
