Due to the overwhelming positive response to the Museum of Lights at the Kindersley and District Plains Museum, three more dates have been announced before they end their season.

Anna Polsfut with the Museum explains when the lights will be on display once again.

"The dates are December 21, 22, and 31, New Year's Eve. And we will be doing 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, a little later this time."

The reasoning behind the three extra dates was just how busy things were especially this past weekend. Polsfut said Saturday December 18 was the busiest and holding three more dates for the display was an easy choice.

“We were very, very busy on the last night that we had here that would have been the 18th that was very busy. Probably I would say upwards of like 75 to 100 vehicles that drove through that night. And we just had such a great response with everybody and people who had thought that they missed it and definitely wanted to stop by and check it out. So, we said, why not do three more nights?”

The Museum is welcoming donations at the start of the drive thru, and West Central Online will have totals from the Museum of Lights as soon as they become available.
