Minor Hockey teams around the area are either finishing up their regular season, gearing up for playoffs, checking their provincial opponent, or all three!

Novice teams played a lot over this past weekend.

The Kindersley Bulldogs Novice team played 3 games over the weekend. They were defeated by the Kindersley Novice Scorpion Koating Longhorns 14-2 on Saturday. Two games were then played against Eston, a 10-9 victory against Eston 2, and a 20-8 win over Eston 1.

In Atom, the Kindersley Big Rack Vac Prairie Thunder played back to back games against the Southwest Warriors team from leader. The first game tied 3-3, and the Prairie Thunder won the second game 4-2. Sunday saw an all Kindersley match up between Atom 1 and Atom 3 teams. The Kindersley Atom 1 team took the victory 5-4.

Playoffs are underway in the Pee Wee division, with three playoff series beginning over the weekend. Macklin Pee Wee White defeated the Kerrobert Pee Wee Tigers 5-4, and the Eston Pee Wee Ramblers beat Unity White 3-0 in their first game. The last series to start this weekend was an all Kindersley one, between Kindersley 1 and 2. Kindersley 1 took the game
4-0.

In the Bantam ranks on Sunday, Macklin defeated Rosetown/Elrose 7-4, and Unity defeated the Eston Ramblers 10-4.

As for Midget, the playoffs seem to be getting underway and Kindersley will be playing Unity.
