‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the station,

Nothing was stirring, at this location.

The headphones were hung by the microphones with care,

In hopes that St. Nick would soon be there.

Candy on a jet plane with her sunglasses and hat

Excited for sunshine, beaches and a holiday nap.

Barb was dreaming of being snug in her bed,

While local news stories from West Central Online danced in her head.

When out on the roof there arose such a clatter,

Brad sprang from his office chair to see what was the matter.

Away to the window he flew like a flash,

He tore down the blinds and made a big smash.

What to his wondering eyes should appear,

But Jacey dressed up as Rudolph the red nosed reindeer.

With fuzzy antlers and a nose so bright,

She was ready to take off for the night.

Moises was eating sugar cookies and drinking eggnog,

Crumbs everywhere and listening to tunes on his ipod.

He wouldn’t share, not even with the elf,

He finished the whole plate all by himself.

After all the traffic and commercials were done,

Rhonda decided it was time for some Christmas fun.

From head to toe she decorated Brad into a tree,

Then she started shaking the gifts wondering what they could be.

The elf was to make a list and check it twice,

To help Santa decide who had been naughty or nice.

But on that list he wrote down some puns,

Because he is one silly son of a gun.

They all heard a noise that gave them quite a scare,

It was Chelsea dressed up as Santa and she had fallen down the stairs.

She dusted herself off and was all black and blue.

She had a bag full of gifts for Rhonda, Barb, Brad, Moises, Brendan & Jacey too.

“Twas the night before Christmas, the clock struck 5:00,

It was closing time and holidays had arrived.

The staff jumped in their cars and drove out of sight.

From the Country 104 crew, we wish all of our listeners a good night!
