As the Festival of Trees has come and gone in Kerrobert there is still one special Christmas Tree on display at the Courthouse. The Kerrobert Memorial Tree will remain up throughout the month of December, and Kerrobert Recreation Director Bobbi Hebron explains how the tree got started.

“It was started five years ago as a way for people to be able to remember those that have passed away from our community during the Christmas season. Each year we seem to add a few more names to the tree. This year there's so many names on it and much appreciation to the ladies (Margie Snell and Allison Knorr) that have put it together to make sure that it's done every year.”

Hebron then explained how you can add names to the special tree.

“Each day through the month of December, it's available to add names to it. We know that some people haven't been able to make it, and we've actually had calls from other provinces even of people that have wanted to add names of their loved ones who had lived in Kerrobert at some point. They can call or text at me 306-834-8355 to add names to the tree.”

The tree was organized and is decorated by Snell and Knorr in memory of their sons Dallas and Jayden.
