All manufacturing sales in Saskatchewan have increased in the month of February 2017. Out of all of the provinces in Canada, Saskatchewan possessed the second highest increase, and was well above the country average increase of 6.8%.

“Once again, Saskatchewan has experienced strong growth in manufacturing sales, leading the west and well above Canada’s average,” Economy Minister Jeremy Harrison said.  “These numbers point to a manufacturing sector that is strong and resilient, offering a diversity of high quality products to markets across Canada and the world.”

Saskatchewan is one of the leaders in Western Canada when it comes to manufacturing sales, and they will continue to lead this category due to the economy. Saskatchewan's sales were going up, on average, by 0.4% as of January 2017.

The province ranked second in percentage growth in western Canada and third among all provinces in the country. Saskatchewan will continue to dominate in these rankings and could be at the top of the charts if the province continues it's successful ways.
