It has been a bumpy couple weeks for the Kindersley Klippers with consecutive losses, and head office have decided to shake things up once again - this time with a roster move.

The Klippers have traded forward Cole Young to the Humboldt Broncos in exchange for forward Josh Fletcher and the rights to forward prospect Tyde Hutchinson.

Young first played 2 games for the Klippers back in the 2014-2015 season before spending a full season with the squad in 2015-2016 collecting 11 points in 49 games. He also chipped in 2 points in 9 playoff appearances for the team.

The Saskatoon native has improved his game this season by scoring 10 points in 24 games played so far.

Newly acquired forward Josh Fletcher from Calgary, Alberta will be looking to grab a fresh start with the Klippers. He has no points and 14 penalty minutes in the 2016-2017 SJHL campaign thus far.

17-year-old Tyde Hutchinson from Scout Lake, Saskatchewan has a big frame at 6'4" feet. He is currently with the Tisdale Trojans of the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League where he has collected 5 points in 17 games played.
