It's been smooth sailing so far for the Kindersley Klippers who have won two games in a row on the road against the La Ronge Ice Wolves. Kindersley has played two games against the Ice Wolves and are now preparing for two weekend games against the Flin Flon Bombers before returning home next week.

Kindersley looked very dominant in Game 1 against La Ronge, and it showed on the stat sheet. The Klippers registered 53 total shots on goal and managed to score 5 times, leading their way to a 5-3 victory. Klippers' back-up goaltender Billy Girard got the start in goal and stopped 31 of 34 shots faced.

The very next night, the Klippers turned towards their starter, Justin Close. Close has been closing the door all season long and helped his team earn an important two points in the standings. Kindersley played the same offensive style of game in the second game, and found the same results again with a hard fought 3-2 win.

With two wins on the road, that puts the Klippers at 9 total points in the standings. They have managed to win four of their last five games, and earn 8 of a possible 10 points.

The Klippers are beaming with confidence heading into Flin Flon, who have managed to get off to another hot start in the first few games. Flin Flon has only managed to lose a single game in regulation time, which came at the hands of the Melfort Mustangs.

Kindersley will be back at home with a game on Saturday October 14th, when they host the Melville Millionaires.
