The Kindersley Jr. Klippers took on the Yorkton Terriers last night in a game that had a playoff type atmosphere.

Captain Jordan Braid opened up the scoring for the Klippers with 20 seconds remaining in the 1st.  The Terriers would respond scoring the only goal of the 2nd to send it to the final frame all tied up at 1.  With just over 4 minutes left in the 3rd Scott Linnell scored his first goal since returning to the lineup to put the Klippers up 2-1.  Then with the Klippers a player down and the Yorkton goalie out for an extra attacker the Terriers would score with 14 seconds remaining to send it to overtime.
In the extra frame it was the hot handed Ben Ritchie who would give the Klippers the two points, depositing a nice pass behind the Yorkton goaltender.  Ryan Nieszner was solid once again between the pipes making 36 saves.  After going 4 for 4 on this recent homestand the Klippers head on the road later this week.  They will travel to Nipawin, Melfort and Humboldt over the weekend in games you can catch on Classic Hits Radio.
