The Red Lions won 6-5 in an exhilerating overtime win last night.

 

There has been a great night full of great games on the ice all over West Central Saskatchewan.

It was an exciting game for the Kindersley Red Lions in the Sask West Hockey League.

 The Red Lions won 6-5 in overtime.

Chad Dorsett got the overtime winning score but Luseland scored 2 goals in the last 21 seconds to take it to overtime, making the game all that more exciting.

The Macklin Mohawks lost to the Eatonia Huskies last night 6-2 at the Eatonia Memorial Arena.

The Huskies are happy for the victory; they currently balance a 9-9 record.

Elsewhere in Saskatchewan, the Wilkie Outlaws wrangled a victory over the Kerrobert Tigers last night 13-3.

The Tigers hosted the Outlaws at the Kerrobert Arena; the Outlaws are currently boasting a 3-win streak.

In the Sask Valley Hockey League, The Beechy Bombers took a victory over the Outlook Ice Hawks 10-3 at the Beechy Arena.

The two teams are currently neck and neck in the league, the Bombers boasting a 13-7 record while the Ice Hawks boats a 12-7 record.

And in the NHL, The Arizona Coyotes beat the Calgary Flames 4-1 last night with Shane Doal scoring 2 goals and one assist.

Doal has now become the Coyote's franchise leader with 931 points.  

The Arizona Coyotes can start fresh with a clean slate; the victory snapped the team out of a 5 game losing streak.

The Buffalo Sabres hosted the Montreal Canadiens last night and beat the Montreal team 6-4.

I was also a comeback game of sorts for the Sabres, snapping out of 4 game losing streak.

Sabres man, Marcus Foligno scored twice to bring the game to victory, including a sharply executed penalty shot score.
