The SJHL released the schedule for the 2022-23 season Monday morning. This year, the league is moving from a 58-game season to a 56-game schedule.

The Kindersley Jr. Klippers begin their 2022-23 campaign in usual fashion as they will play host to rival Battlefords North Stars on September 16 at the West Central Events Centre, and will play the rematch the following evening, September 17, in North Battleford at 7:30 pm.

The Jr. Klippers will play their rivals six times during the season, all in back to back situations. The campaign also includes a six game homestand from October 14 to 26. The first long road trip of the season begins on with five games in six days through Melville, Yorkton and Notre Dame from November 22 to 27.

A couple of special games are on the schedule, as the final game before the Christmas break will be an afternoon affair at the West Central Events Centre, beginning at 12:30 pm on December 16. And due to the success of holding a game by emergency in Rosetown last year, there is a game scheduled for January 21 against the Nipawin Hawks at 7:30 pm in the community.

The tradition of having an early game on Family Day continues, as the team will head to Humboldt on February 20 for a 3:00 pm start.
