Sledge hockey action is set to return to the West Central Events Centre. A nine team tournament is being held this weekend in Kindersley, with teams of all ages and from across the province coming to town.
The teams attending include three junior teams from Medicine Hat, Calgary, and the host Kindersley Klippers. Then the tournament has six intermediate/adult teams in the fold, from Saskatoon, Bruno, Regina, and then again Calgary, Medicine Hat, and the hosts in Kindersley.
“We are looking forward to hosting the first sledge hockey tournament since early 2020 when everything was cancelled,” said club manager Tracy Lyons, “We have some new players this year, and our returning players that are all ready to get back into hockey!”
