With the resignation of long-time volunteers, the Saskatchewan Housing Board in Kerrobert is looking for new executive and general members.  

The positions include: 

Chairperson – They would take a lead role in managing the housing authority and are responsible for: 

  • Convening and directing board meetings 
  • Providing Guidance when procedural or policy issues arise 
  • Liaising with Sask House as needed 
  • Informing Sask Housing of any changes to board composition 
  • Welcoming new board members 

Vice-Chairperson – They would assume all the duties of the chair when the chair is not available. This position is selected and appointed by the board. 

Secretary – They are Responsible for keeping complete and accurate records of all board business. 

General Members – have no specified role. 

The board will oversee the finances maintained by the area manager, prioritize repairs, Maintenace or upgrades as needed for the buildings as well as address any other concerns brought forward by the manager. 

There must be a minimum of 3 members and a maximum of 5.
