The Kerrobert Courthouse Restoration Society is getting set for an Old Fashioned Christmas Party this Friday at the Prairieland Community Centre.

There will be a silent auction being held during the festivities featuring paintings of artists who previously had them on display at the Kerrobert Courtroom Gallery. The money is going towards the new steps needed for the front of the Kerrobert Courthouse.

Chairperson of the Courthouse Restoration Society Jackie McNichol explains.

"We are having a silent auction at our Town wide Christmas party that we are putting on. It's got Men Who Paint who have donated four. Victoria Knorr donated one, Bonnah Busch has donated one, Chris Hodge donated one, and Fran Schlosser has also donated one."

The silent auction will be held from around 6 pm until 10 pm at the Old Fashioned Christmas Party, according to McNichol. There will also be some live entertainment at the party, as the Bromantics will be at the shindig also.

Tickets are still available for the Christmas party, and they can be purchased at the Kerrobert Town Office during business hours. Masking and proof of full vaccination, or a negative COVID test are required to take part in the festivities.
