The Kindersley Jr. Klippers are proud to announce two new signings. Defenceman Luke Stevens (02) and defenceman Ryan Jessey (03) have both signed letters of intent for the 2021-2022 season.

Luke Stevens is a 6’3, 205 lbs, right shot defenceman that Klippers Head Coach Ken Plaquin is excited to deploy on the teams blue-line. From Denver, Colorado, Stevens is described as a big, rugged defenceman who possesses a gift for offense. He is currently playing in the East Coast Elite League for the U18 Elite Hockey Academy. Stevens has 11 goals, 21 assists, and 50 PIMS in 44 games.

The Klippers other signing in Ryan Jessey is a smooth skating, left handed defenceman from the U18 AAA Calgary Royals. His AEHL season was obviously cut short, but Jessey got off to a great start with 5 assists in his first 6 games. Coach Plaquin believes that he will fit right in with the team thanks to his hockey smarts, speed, and overall skill, and that he should be a great teammate off the ice as well.

The Klippers wanted to congratulate the two on their decisions, and they look forward to getting them on the ice next season.
