Former Jr. Klippers defenseman and Kerrobert native Michael Neumeier, has a made a commitment to play at Colgate University after his junior career with the Bismarck Bobcats of the NAHL. Neumeier is having a splendid season with the Bobcats, as he has put up three goals and eight assists in ten games played.

In other Jr. Klippers news, the team will look to build off a 7-4 victory over the Melfort Mustangs as they play host the Weyburn Red Wings tonight at the West Central Events Centre. The Red Wings are coming off 6-3 loss to the Flin Flon Bombers at home on Friday and are led offensively Kirk Mullen who has five goals and four assists in eleven games played. 

Weyburn is currently 4-8 which is last the Viterra Division. The Klippers sit at 2-6-2. Thanks to some splendid goaltending from Cody Jaman Saturday, which included being credited with a goal, the Klippers got their first win since September 26 back on Saturday. Puck drop for tonight's game is 7:30 pm, and it's a special Toonie Tuesday night once again.
