The Iron Horse Kindersley Klippers have announced a trade that sent 1999 born player forward Dawson McKenzie to the Nipawin Hawks in exchange for 2000 born forward Eric Sorensen. The Klippers also received a Player Development Fee in the trade. McKenzie, who is from Winnipeg, will be on his 3rd team in 2 years.  He got off to a fast start and was leading the team in scoring for most of the season but failed to put up any points in the last four games for Kindersley. His final totals for the Klippers were 8 goals and 12 assists for 20 points in 18 games. Forward Kyle Bosch ended up catching him having 20 points as well in 19 games when the trade happened. Sorenson, who is from Grande Prairie, Alberta, has put up 8 points in 17 games, which is already as much as he put up last year for the Hawks in 45 games in the 2018-19 season.

The Iron Horse Kindersley Klippers made another trade on Tuesday after trading away Dawson McKenzie yesterday.1999 born goaltender Zach Johnson has been traded to the Hawkesbury Hawks of the Central Canadian Hockey League for a Player Development Fee.
