With Hockey Saskatchewan's new under-22 female junior league starting up for this upcoming season, the Western Prairie Junior Klippers have their building blocks in place with three signings announced yesterday.

Wednesday afternoon saw the U22 Klippers announce the signing of goalie and Eston native Rilyn Roadhouse, a 2005 netminder who played lots of local hockey in the area.   

Shortly after the next signing announced was 2004 forward Laiken Swan, another local player from Plenty who also played minor hockey around west-central Saskatchewan.

Finally on Thursday morning they shared the news of another 2004 forward Devrie Bloom from Turtleford being the third player to commit to the roster.

The team has a few weeks left to sign players before they open up camp on September 1. Prior to that opportunity in Kindersley, you can read about below, they also announced an earlier chance to skate with the coaches and signed players in Saskatoon.

A couple more signings were noted, including 2004 born Mia Tough from Turtleford, and 2005 born Ashtyn Laclare from Marsden.
