The SJHL recently released their list of RBC Community Ambassador award winners, and the Klippers recipient was Kindersley's own Jaxon Georget.

In his second year with the Klippers, Georget truly appreciates playing in front of his hometown.

"It's great, it's awesome to be able to play in front of your hometown fans."

This appreciation must carry over into his community work, as he never seems to turn down being a helping hand in town. When the Klippers were forced to remain home after a large snowstorm early in the season, Georget along with some of his teammates were seen shoveling out different care facilities, as well as the local legion building. Other community events Georget has enjoyed, includes having ice-time with his teammates and minor hockey players in Eston, Kerrobert, and Eatonia, and the annual elementary school pancake breakfast put on by the team.

Georget will receive a certificate for the honour, as well as $1000 from RBC to be donated within the community.

In the provided release, it was stated that Jaxon is not only the perfect ambassador for Kindersley, but for the entire region as well. Sharing the local player title with Logan Linklater and Kerrobert's Neumeier brothers, certainly helps take some pressure off the local product.

In other SJHL news, the league will once again be headed online. Players have been created once again on EA Sports NHL 21, to take part in the SJHL Virtual Showcase. The Klippers have 6 skaters in the event, as creator Alex "Moneyball" Watson included Micheal Neumeier, Matt Mazzocchi, Aidan Bangs, Logan Linklater, Kyle Ford, and Ethan King. Goaltender Matt Pesenti cracked one of the top four goalie spots.
