The Kindersley Alliance Church will become a concert venue on Monday night as three talented musicians come together for special Christmas show.

Sindy Yiu is from Fiske and she teaches Piano lessons. We talked to her back in May when she organized a benefit concert for Ukraine.

Vanessa Klassen is a clarinetist and she's from Kindersley. She recently completed her Master of Music degree from the Ohio State University.

Christina Bakanec plays the cello with the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra and runs a small music studio out of her home near Kerrobert.

Together they make up the Mosiac Trio. Sindy said that Christina and herself have been playing regularly, and they're really happy to have the original group back together. "We formed a trio in 2019. We did two classical concerts in Rosetown and Kindersley. Shortly after that Vanessa moved to the United States to pursue her doctoral of musical arts."

They plan on playing about 20 songs and the show will last about an hour with an intermission. They'll play classical music and all Christmas music. "It's called Home For Christmas and it will be held on Monday December 19 7:30pm at Kindersley Alliance Church."

Vanessa Klassen arranged "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" and "It's beginning to look like look a lot like Christmas."

They are putting on this show to share their talents with friends, family and anyone in the public who would like to hear celebrated, certified, classical musicians who are not only from the area, but also giving back to the area. Another big reason is to share their love of Christmas.
