2nd Update: July 19 11:02 AM CST:

On Friday, July 17 at approximately 3:55 p.m., Warman RCMP responded to a motor vehicle collision on Highway #7, approximately 2 kilometers west of Delisle.

Investigation has determined that an eastbound car collided with a westbound pickup truck pulling a horse trailer. The adult female driver of the car was taken to hospital by STARS with serious injuries. There is no update on her condition. The adult female driver and youth female passenger of the pickup truck were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The two horses in the trailer were not hurt.

Highway #7 was closed in both directions during the initial investigation. Warman RCMP and an RCMP traffic reconstructionist continue to investigate.

UPDATE: July 17 8:00 AM CST: Highway #7 has been reopened southwest of Delisle.

Warman RCMP are advising the public that Highway #7  is closed to traffic 2 km south west of Delisle because of a serious motor vehicle collision.

There is currently no timetable for re-opening of the highway.

Traffic is being diverted through several grid roads around the incident. Traffic should expect delays or plan an alternate route.
