Pam Welter was touched when she received two generous donations from local citizens in the West Central area.

A total of over $6000 dollars has been given to the Kindersley Branch of the Canadian Mental Health Christmas Hamper program over the last few days.

The first donation received was given by the members of The Farmer Recreational Hockey team.

Their collected donations reached a total of $3765.

Lisa Johnson gave Welter a donation of $2250 on behalf of all the sub-contractors and employees at Holland's Hot Oiling.

The donation will go to supporting the hampers of 12 large families in the region, in towns such as Kindersley, Flaxclomb, Coleville, Brock, Smiley and Eatonia.

The Christmas Food Hamper program is still looking to receive donations for the season.
