It is a program to get kids more involved in planting and gardening during the summer.

The Horticulture Society  has a Gardening for Kids program and they are looking for more children to participate. They are looking for certain age groups that include little siblings, 8 and older, 9-12, and 13-16.

The children will be provided with everything they need from seeds, plants and an instruction book. The Horticultural Society provides a gardening kit to the kids which includes seeds, plants, and an instruction book.

If anyone is interested in joining in the project for the summer, they can contact Pat Perkins at 463- 2076. A meeting is taking place on Tuesday, May 19th at the Senior's Centre at 7:30 for anyone who would like to know more about the Horticultural Society.
