Four deaths in relation to COVID-19 have been reported on Friday. This brings the death toll in Saskatchewan up to 773 since the pandemic began.

There are were also 312 new confirmed cases with 238 recoveries.

The west-central zone holds two of the new cases, Regina has 59, the northwest zone has 39, central-east has 34, Saskatoon has 33, the southeast has 32, north-central has 20, the far northeast has 19, far northwest has 10, the northeast and south-central have eight, the southwest has five, and 43 of the new cases reported have pending residence information.

There are currently 4364 active COVID-19 cases in the province with 339 of those cases are being treated in hospitals, 75% of those patients are unvaccinated.

261 people are receiving inpatient care and 78 people are in the ICU.

The 7-day average for new cases numbers was 380.
